Charity of the Year

Each year we choose a local charity to support throughout a year with a number of fundraising activities and are proud to have raised over £15,000 since 2016.

History

2016

The Beginning

After a meeting in Costa,  Jason and Phil had a joint vision to create a new IT service that would provide a vast range of unlimited IT solutions, WestSpring IT was born, becoming officially registered on the 21st October 2016.

2017

First Office & First Employee

2017 was a busy year for the team, from moving into our first office after partnering with Datto and starting our first project with Rockpool, to outgrowing our offices one more time before finally settling in at Filwood Green Business Park in September. Elliott also became the first member to join our team.

2018

All the new things!

2018 was a really exciting one for us. We launched our brand new website, a fantastic new product (hosted telephony) for our clients and experienced another year of serious growth.

2019

Team Doubled

Another year of continued growth and the business was performing really well. Our team doubled and we gained 11 new clients! We also introduced loads of new services including; WestSpring Rooms, WestSpring Lobby and WestSpring Mobiles. We then rounded off the year with an amazing ski trip in Andorra!

2020

The “New Way of Working”

2020 was an eventful year! It began with a move to our new office but then days later we were working from home and dealing with a global pandemic! 2020 was as rewarding as it was challenging, supporting our clients at a very tough time, helping them to adapt to a world with Covid-19.

2021

Simply different

After a tricky year thanks to Covid, in 2021 we decided to kick things up a notch and accelerate the growth of the business. We hired our first Head of Marketing to tell the WestSpring story and enhance our brand identity. 2021 also saw the launch of our Client Socials, running our first Golden Pin Bowling Competition and Corporate Golf Day.

2022

Giving back to local causes

The team continued growing, with two new apprentices joining, including our first Marketing Apprentice to help support the marketing department. We won a number of big clients across new sectors and locations. We also ramped up our fundraising this year for our charity of the year, with Tough Mudder, Charity 5-a-side and Grief Encounter’s Gala Dinner.

2023

The big move

2023 saw us take a huge step in scaling up the business. We moved to a much bigger premises kitted out with the latest tech as well as more meeting spaces, breakout rooms and collaboration areas. Not to mention a ping pong table and pool table so it’s not all work and no play!
